Summer In Ithaca ‘09 – A Quick Recap

We’ve been so busy this summer doing so many things, and are unfortunately a bit lazy, so our blog has suffered.  Instead of doing a bunch of individual updates about some of the major events we’ve had over the last two months, I’ve decided to just catch us up in one fell swoop.  Here goes.

Andrew Graduated this past May from Ithaca College.  It was a fun and stressful time with both of our families meeting each other for the first time (and getting along! yey!).

Natalia’s High School Graduation

Andrew and I flew down to Bogota, Colombia to witness his sister, Natalia,» graduate from high school.  Two graduates in one year!  We had an amazing time hanging with family and relaxing in Colombia.  Much too short a visit, certainly look forward to going down again!

Greetings Among Old Friends

In college I lived with an amazing group of people in the Ithaca College Circles who enjoyed having a good time in costume.  We hosted countless themed parties and became known as the SuperHero Frat.  Now that college is over we’ve all gone our separate ways but hold those days dearly and feel the special bond of “brotherhood” that any Fraternity experiences.  For one short weekend in June a bunch of “Supers” made their way back to Ithaca to see each other, and new friends, again!  It was a fantastic time and I hope we can organize another one sometime soon!

There are a number of things Andrew and I have realized that we need to do (finally) before we up and leave the Ithaca, NY area.  We originally thought we’d be moving across the country so we’d probably never get the chance to do these things we’d always wanted to do.  Now that we’re headed to Boston instead, we could still come back to do things that have been left undone, but it’s probably better we’ve gotten a few of them out of the way before we leave.
